Springfield 18-year-old charged with attempted murder due in court this week

A Springfield man who is accused of trying to shoot two brothers in January is due in court Friday.

Elrashawn Dover, 18, is charged with two counts of attempted murder in Clark County Common Pleas Court. He is due in front of Clark County Common Pleas Court Judge Douglas Rastatter for a pre-trial hearing Friday, according to online records.

Police: Man, 18 shot another in chest; charges dropped against juvenile

Dover is accused of opening fire after an argument with one of the brothers. Dover allegedly shot the man he was reportedly arguing with in the chest and the man’s brother rushed him to the hospital.

Dover is currently in the Clark County jail and has been since he was arrested on Jan. 8. He was originally arrested on other charges.
