He was indicted by a grand jury on Monday and arraigned in Clark County Common Pleas Court on Thursday.

According to court documents, police were called to the pharmacy on a report of a robbery in progress involving a gun. A witness who contacted police said the door to the business was locked and they saw someone robbing the location. An employee also called police to report the store was being robbed by two men.

When the officer arrived, he allegedly observed one suspect in a grey hoodie carrying a white trash bag full of bottles running for the door. The officer chased the suspect but he was able to elude capture.

The officer then saw another suspect, later identified as Boyd, allegedly running for another exit while also carrying a white bag. Police pursued him as well but he was able to get away after jumping a fence. Boyd was later arrested in the Ridgewood neighborhood.

When the officer returned to the scene of the robbery, he found three employees locked in a restroom with their hands tied behind their backs.

“They advised that the suspects tied them up after Mr. Boyd pointed a gun at (one of the women),” the affidavit says.
