“There is always something new and exciting to learn about the animals we care for every day,” said General Curator Kelly Sowers, “Underwater Scavenger Hunt is a great way to reward our visitors who are taking the time to learn about some amazing animals they might not have seen at the aquarium before.”
It “is a cabin fever cure, which we are all looking for right now,” said Madison Brady, public relations manager.
During the hunt, each globe found is a clue that will help visitors spell a secret phrase at the end of their journey. Visitors who solve the phrase at the end of the scavenger hunt can enter to win the grand prize.
“There are 13 globes to find this year, and each one has a letter that spells the phrase at the end,” Brady said.
This is the fifth year for the activity, which runs through March 2. It’s free with aquarium admission.
