Partly sunny but unseasonably cool today; Temps heat up later this week

Temperatures will be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler today before things start to warm up around mid-week, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Today will be partly sunny with highs around 70 degrees. This evening will be cloudy with a gradual clearing overnight. Lows will dip into the mid-50s.

Temperatures will start to warm tomorrow with highs around 80 and clear and sunny skies. A light breeze is also possible. Tuesday night brings partial cloudiness and cooler temperatures dipping into the mid-50s.

Wednesday will be sunny and very hot with highs in the mid-80s. Mostly clear skies reign Wednesday night with lows falling around 63 degrees.

Thursday will be sunny with a high of 92 degrees, followed by a mostly clear overnight with lows around 68 degrees.

Friday into the weekend will see hot to very hot temperatures, dry conditions and sunny skies.
