After a cold, icy night, today will be mostly cloudy and cool, with light winds and highs in the mid- to upper 40s, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows around 29 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny and colder, with highs around 40 degrees, then overnight will be mostly cloudy.

On Saturday, there will be a chance of showers in the morning, with rain likely by the afternoon. Highs will be around 40 degrees.

Rain will be likely before midnight Saturday night, but otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with lows around 30 degrees.
