There will be a Frost Advisory for most of the Miami Valley from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. overnight, with temperatures around 40 degrees expected overnight.

Bring an umbrella if you have any outdoor plans for Mother’s Day, as the Miami Valley will get hit with heavy rain and possible flooding, the National Weather Service in Wilmington reported.

Rainfall is expected through the entire region for most of the day, with thunderstorms possible during the day. The area may see winds up to 17 mph during the day. More showers and thunderstorms are possible through the evening, though the chance of rain may diminish overnight. Temperatures will range between about 60 and 40 degrees, the NWS reported.

Tomorrow will be sunny and we will see clear skies, however temperatures will remain cool. Highs will reach about 60 degrees and lows could drop just below 40 degrees overnight.

The area may see some patchy frost early Tuesday morning, mainly before 7 a.m., the NWS reported. Highs will reach just below 60 degrees and could drop as low as 36 degrees overnight, bringing more possible frost into early Wednesday morning.
