Wittenberg (3-1) won its third straight game, improving to 3-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Wittenberg has won four straight games against DePauw (1-2, 1-1) and seven of eight in the series since DePauw joined the NCAC in 2012.

Wittenberg took a 7-0 lead with a score on the opening drive of the game. Bobby Froehlich threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to DeShawn Sarley.

In the second quarter, Froehlich threw his second touchdown pass, 33 yards to Tristan Davis, giving the Tigers a 14-3 lead.

That remained the score until the fourth quarter when DePauw’s Connor Perkins intercepted Froehlich at the Wittenberg 38-yard line and DePauw took advantage of the the short field by scoring on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Chase Andries to Cam Haynes with 9:53 remaining.
