Springfield pushed its lead to 21-7 on a touchdown run by RaheI’m Moss with 3:04 left.
Beavercreek’s Nicholas Brown three a 47-yard touchdown pass to Sabastian Rendon with 1:22 left, but Springfielad recovered an onside kick and ran out the clock.
With hail falling in the first quarter and rain falling throughout the game, both offenses were slowed. Springfield got on the board on a 4-yard run by Jeff Tolliver with 58 seconds left in the first quarter. One play prior to that score, the Wildcats converted on 4th-and-26 from the 36 as Jordan Howard caught pass from Jalen Minney along the sideline.

Springfield extended its lead to 14-0 on a 7-yard touchdown run by Tavion Smoot with 4:30 left in the second quarter. The score stayed 14-0 until halftime.
Springfield improved to 7-1 and 2-0 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference National East Division. The Wildcats close the regular season with home games against Wayne and Fairmont.
Beavercreek (1-7, 0-3) lost its fifth straight game. It plays at Miamisburg and hosts Centerville in its final two games.
