Dr. David Galluch, the team doctor at Shawnee High School, won the Ohio Athletic Trainer’s Association 2016 Team Physician Award on Friday.
Galluch works at the Springfield Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute. According to its website, he also works with Cedarville University and served as a team doctor at Urbana University and Northwestern High School in the past.
Galluch is a Miami University graduate who studied medicine at the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Michigan State and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Ohio State.
