The nonconference schedule of Texas (Aug. 30), Grambling (Sept. 6) and Ohio (Sept. 13) was already known.
The Buckeyes will play them the first three weeks of the season before having an off week.
They will open Big Ten play at Washington on Sept. 27 then return home to play Minnesota a week later.
The visit from the Golden Gophers will be the only game at Ohio Stadium during a six-week span from Sept. 20 through the end of October.
The Buckeyes will go to Illinois and Wisconsin in back-to-back weeks then have another week off before playing host to Penn State on Nov. 1.
After going to Purdue a week after that, Ohio State will have back-to-back home games against UCLA and Rutgers before concluding the season at Michigan on Nov. 29.
Ohio State has never played Grambling but is 1-2 against Texas and 7-0 against Ohio.
The Buckeyes lost to the Longhorns at Ohio Stadium in 2005 then beat them in Austin in 2006 before dropping the Fiesta Bowl against UT to conclude the 2008 season.
OSU last played Ohio in 2010, a 43-7 win the Buckeyes don’t recognize because of NCAA sanctions applied to that season later.
The in-state schools first played in 1899.
