Josiah Botello also scored a touchdown for the Arrows, who travel to London in Week 2.
Northeastern 48, Cedarville 7: Sophomore quarterback Cade Houseman threw a 70-yard TD to Jake Nichols on the first play of the game as the Jets rolled in an Ohio Heritage Conference crossover game.
Houseman threw for three TDs and rushed for another, while Dylan Haggy caught a 60-yard TD and returned a punt for a TD.
Johnny Jones and Hunter Albright each returned interceptions for touchdowns and Gunnar Leonard also caught a TD pass.
The Jets travel to Fairbanks next week.
Triad 34, Southeastern 6: Senior Coleman Hauck threw two TD passes as Cardinals coach Dylan Wears won his first career game.
Hauck found Batai Lease for a 14-yard TD and later found Drew Campbell for a 27-yard TD. Hayden Simpson also scored on a 20-yard run.
Derek Bails and Jackson Cordell each scored on fumble recoveries for the Cardinals.
Ty McKinney scored the lone TD for the Trojans, who travel to Greeneview next week.
Fairbanks 50, Catholic Central 6: Ty Myers, Jr. went 10-for-25 for a TD and Tre’Von King caught six passes for 133 yards and a score for the Irish.
The scored was 0-0 after the first quarter, but the Panthers scored 23 in the second quarter and 20 in third quarter.
West Liberty-Salem 36, Greeneview 21: Quarterback Christian Griffith went 23-for-30 for 297 yards and a TD and rushed for 88 yards on 15 carries and three TDs for the Tigers.
Senior wide receiver Nick Burden caught nine passes for 139 yards and a TD.
Greeneview’s Dakota Mangan rushed for 109 yards, including a 74-yard TD. Jayden Dehaven rushed for 94 yards and a TD for the Rams.
Graham 34, Kenton Ridge 7: The Cougars’ Brady King found Matt Wichael for their only score. The Cougars travel to Jonathan Alder next week.
Mechanicsburg 41, Greenon 7: The Knights fell to 0-1 and travel to Catholic Central next week.
West Jefferson 42, Madison Plains 0: Quarterback Tyler Buescher threw for 265 yards and three TDs for the Roughriders.
