He is the No. 25 prospect in the state and No. 42 defensive tackle prospect in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Gibson had 22 tackles, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and forced two fumbles last season for the Wildcats.
Teammate Moses Douglass (Kentucky) is among the are players who have verbally committed from the class of 2019, while former teammate Danny Davis is a sophomore receiver at Wisconsin.

Wildcats RaHeim Moss and Michael Brown-Stephens are also three-star prospects in the state's top 100.
Brown-Stephens committed to Minnesota late last month.
