Wooden watch list includes OSU stars; A-10 and Horizon represented too

Ohio State sophomore Jared Sullinger topped the Wooden Award’s preseason list of the top 50 players in the country, released Monday. Sullinger — the only returning Wooden All-American from last season — is one of nine Big Ten players named, including three Buckeyes.

The Big East led with 10 selections, while North Carolina led all schools with four players.

The Atlantic 10 had two and Horizon League had one selection. The list will be trimmed down to about 20 players for the final award in April. Both Dayton and Wright State will face players selected this season:
