A 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior defensive back, Eichie had six interceptions and 51 tackles for the Irish (0-10). He also accounted for 824 all-purpose yards of offense, including 568 yards receiving and 196 return yards.
Irish coach Mike McKenna labeled Eichie “one of the top athletes ever to play for Catholic Central.”
Also a top returning Central basketball player, Eichie has drawn football recruiting interest from the University of Cincinnati, Wittenberg and Urbana.

A running back, Rice, 5-10, 190, made the most of his senior season for Triad (5-5) after missing most of his junior year with a torn ACL knee ligament in Week 2. He led the Ohio Heritage Conference in rushing with 1,476 yards and scored 22 touchdowns. Also a defensive back, he had 28 tackles and two interceptions.
Rice had a season-best 237 yards rushing and four touchdowns in Week 4 vs. Greenon and added 220 yards rushing against Fairbanks in Week 9. He has drawn recruiting interest from Urbana and Capital.
Bruce, a 6-2, 205, senior for the Cardinals, made the first team as a tight end. He also led the OHC with 46 catches for 827 yards (18.0 per catch) and had nine touchdowns. He had seven catches each against Greenon and Cedarville and five games of six or more receptions.

Over the last two seasons Bruce had a combined 96 catches for 1,407 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has received offers from Morehead State, Urbana and Mount St. Joseph’s.
Three area players were named second team Division VI. Mechanicsburg senior running back Joey Mascadri and Northeastern senior receiver Max Queen were chosen to the D-VI second team offense. West Liberty-Salem junior lineman Kyle Wolfe was selected to the D-VI second team defense.
Mascadri (1,026) was one of six OHC running backs to surpass 1,000 yards rushing in the regular season for the Indians (8-3) and scored 13 touchdowns. Also a linebacker, he had 61 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

Queen ranked second to Bruce in OHC receiving with 31 catches for 755 yards (24.4) and nine touchdowns. He had a season high of eight catches for 165 yards in Week 8 vs. West Jefferson. Also a defensive back, he also had four interceptions.
Wolfe had 5 tackles, 6.5 sacks and a fumble recovery to lead the WL-Salem (7-3) defense.
Area D-VI special mention picks were Trevor Woodruff, Major Stratton, Thad Lawrence and Isaac Lee of West Liberty-Salem, Northeastern’s Codey Taylor and Kix Thiel of Mechanicsburg.

Area D-VII special mention choices were Cedarville teammates Brandon Pollock, Caleb Harding and Hayden Lee.
Players were based on coaches nominations and selected by nine district media committees throughout the state. The remainder of the All-Ohio football teams will be released this week and Mr. Football announced on Wednesday.
