Pizza and bingo
Urbana Champaign County Senior Center, 701 S Walnut St., will have pizza and bingo day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
The cost is a canned good for the food pantry or $5 for non-members.
Library events
The New Carlisle Public Library, 111 E. Lake Ave., will host a few events this weekend:
- Mobility Muscles from 11:30 a.m. to noon Friday for ages 19 and older.
- Baby Storytime from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Join Ms. Jeri and bring your baby, ages 0-2, for a story time. For more information, contact Ms. Jeri at jgoins@seolibraries.org.
- Weekend Snack Packs will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Friday. Stop by the library to grab a free weekend snack pack plus a free book.
- Chill Tween Craft DIY will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday for ages six to 11. Join Ms. Kayla for this class that features a new craft each month.
- Teen Table Top RPG will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Come to the library for a teen led TT/RPG gaming adventure. Open to teens ages 12 to 18 and older. All skill levels are welcome.
- Embroidery Club will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday for ages 18 and older. Beginners are welcome.
Urbana movie
The Gloria Theatre will show Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” at 3 and 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday, at 216 S. Main St.

Splash Bash
The Holiday Splash Bash will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Wittenberg University Natatorium, 250 Bill Edwards Dr.
This event is for all ages. Children ages seven and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
The pre-registration deadline in Sunday. The pre-registration fee is $3 per swimmer of $5 at the door.

Art group
Fiber Arts Group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Champaign County Library, 1060 Scioto St.
Any crafter or creator is welcome to bring their current project and work on it in a fun, supportive community. Want to learn to knit, crochet, cross-stitch or embroider? Call the library and talk to Kay about setting up a lesson during the Fiber Arts Group or another time that works in your schedule.
New Years party
The Friends of the North Lewisburg Branch Library will host “Ring in the New Year” Party from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at 161 Winder St.
There will be food, games, fun and practice ringing in 2025.
