The Champaign County Library will host a “Noon Year’s Eve Celebration for Families” at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1060 Scioto St. in Urbana.
Kids and families are invited to join the party while counting down to “Noon Year’s Eve.” There will be games, crafts, treats and more.
Registration is required, but adults don’t need to register. The program is geared towards elementary-aged children.

Elks Lodge dinner
The Springfield Ohio Elks Lodge will host a New Year’s Eve dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at 1536 Villa Road.
The special menu includes ribeye steak or fair chop and two sides.
Reservations are required, and you can sign up at the lodge to make the reservation.
Band performance
A New Year’s Eve celebration with The Level Ground Band will be held from 8 p.m. Tuesday to just past midnight Wednesday at the Springfield Eagles, 1802 Selma Road.
Gloria Theatre party
The historic Gloria Theatre will host “Gloria Glitters Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Party” from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at 216 S. Main St.
This adults-only evening features live performances by NYC3, a trio known for their electrifying covers of today’s biggest hits, alongside Dayton’s top DJ, Nick Wright.
Tickets range from $39 to $59 and include entry to the event and a midnight champagne toast. Additional food, drinks and games will be available for purchase.

Sneaker Ball
The State Theater will host “New Year’s Eve Sneaker Ball” from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 1 a.m. Wednesday at 19 S. Fountain Ave.
DJ T Hunny will play a mix of 90′s-2000′s hip hop and R&B.

Skating
USA Skate Center will host a New Year’s Eve skate from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at 2340 Valley Loop Road.
There will be games and prizes all night.
The cost is $10 for admission and $4 for skate rental. All paid admissions will receive a free glow stick and parents skate with your kids for only $5.
Presale tickets are available, but ticket sales will be limited.
Piano man
Resident piano man Max Miessel will play at The State Theater from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at 19 S. Fountain Ave.
Ladies Night Out
Urbana Brewing Co. will host Ladies’ Night Out at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 35 Monument Square.
There will be specialty cocktails, special food items, and music by female performing artists.
This is hosted the first Wednesday of each month.
