As of Tuesday afternoon, none of the men were listed as inmates in the Clark County Jail.
The investigation into the three men began on Sept. 15 after Springfield Police were dispatched to Springfield Regional Medical Center on a report of a gunshot victim. At the hospital, police interviewed the victim’s wife, who said she drove him to the hospital after, “he had been shot while at the Quality Inn on the west side of the hotel parking lot," according to an affidavit filed in the case.
Officers obtained video surveillance footage from the hotel of the incident which showed three men arrive in a black Jeep Cherokee, the affidavit said.
“Several minutes later the victim arrives in a white Dodge minivan. The victim exits his van and enters the rear passenger side of the Jeep. The victim is in the van for a few minutes and exits, then walks back to his van,” the affidavit said. “He returns from his van carrying what appears to be a sack of some kind. The victim is in the Jeep for approximately 30 minutes when he exits and appears to be injured.”
In the video, the victim then enters the hotel for assistance, returns to his van and drives away, the affidavit said.
At the hospital, the victim agreed with the events from the surveillance footage, the affidavit said.
“The victim advised me he met three males, who were in a black Jeep in the parking lot of the Quality Inn. Defendant Juan Reyes, who he knows, struck him in the head with a pistol,” the affidavit said. “A second suspect then grabbed him by his jacket and fired two shots that struck him in the upper left torso. The third defendant, the driver, was believed to be Foland, so (Sergeant) presented a lineup to the victim and he ID’d Foland as the driver of the Jeep."
Johnson was identified as the second suspect, and shooter, on Sept. 16 after the victim came into Springfield Police headquarters for a photo lineup, according to the affidavit.
“A photo lineup was created and Officer Sullivan presented it to the victim,” the affidavit said. “The victim picked Johnson and said, ‘That’s the dude who shot me.'"
The next court date for the men has not yet been scheduled.

Rachel Niece, 46, of Springfield: aggravated possession of drugs.
Krusean Wilkerson, 30, of Springfield: abduction, domestic violence (misdemeanor)
Kimberly Nath, 42: illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, aggravated possession of drugs.
Devonte Bullard, 28, of Springfield: aggravated possession of drugs.
Kevin Hayes, 30, of Springfield: aggravated robbery, heaving weapons under disability.
Destina Plantz, 25, of Springfield: aggravated menacing.
Daniel Ramsey, 38, of Columbus: illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, possession of fentanyl-related compound.
Bryant Brown, 61, of Springfield: carrying concealed weapon, receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine.
Ian Sheffield, 40, of Springfield: possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of drugs.
