One person was shot and multiple cars were involved in a crash around South Belmont Avenue and East Main Street on Tuesday morning.

Springfield police said there was a police pursuit followed by the crash involving multiple vehicles. A man was found at the PNC Bank nearby with a gunshot wound to the ankle, but he is not believed to have been shot there.

There appear to have been at least four cars involved in the crash.
