When police arrived, they spoke with the owner of the business who said someone stole many property items over the last few weeks.
“An unknown suspect(s) broke into the business through a rear overhead garage door using a pry bar or similar tool,” the report said.
The owner said the business has been closed since the end of 2018 but said he has been periodically checking on it and was doing that when he found the damage to the door and the stolen property.
According to the report, the stolen property includes assorted electrical lines and water pipes, five TVs, bowling ball drill press, bowling lane cleaning machine, stationary welder, assorted bottles of liquor, two computers, soccer field scoreboard, credit card kiosk, jukebox, speakers, sound bar, amps, assorted hand tools, auto frying machine, seven neon beer signs, mechanical and meltdown motors, three compartment sinks, a freezer, an ice machine and three dollies.
The owner told police there was water damage from the cuts/stolen pipes and the HVAC system was damaged.
No suspect or witness information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigation into this incident.
