Sconfienza was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet during the crash, according to OSHP.
“Excessive speed and alcohol are factors we are currently investigating in conjunction with the crash,” OSHP Lt. Brian Aller said. “Driving impaired and over-estimating the ability of yourself and your vehicle, can quickly become deadly.”
There were no witnesses to the crash, Aller said, and deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
It was 17th fatal Clark County crash of 2020.
