PHOTOS: Three-alarm fire at U.S. Xpress Trucking

The Springfield Fire Division responded to reports of an explosion and fire at U.S. Xpress Trucking on Leffel Lane in Springfield Friday morning, June 2, 2023. The fire division arrived to find flames coming through the roof and it quickly elevated to a three alarm fire. There were no injuries reported and the fire was mostly contained to the maintenance garage section of the business. The fire is under investigation. BILL LACKEY/STAFF
