Shingler was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle went off the right side of Horatio Harris Creek Road and hit a utility pole, according to the release.
Deputies said the crash remains under investigation Sunday morning.

There were no witnesses to tonight’s fatal motorcycle crash, said Deputy Craig Neth of the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
“Preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, striking a utility police, ejecting the driver, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene,” Neth said.
The victim, a man, was not wearing a helmet. It is unknown whether speed or alcohol is a factor in the crash, which is under investigation. The victim’s name, age and hometown has not been released.

The Darke County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene tonight of a motorcycle crash in the 8500 block of Horatio-Harris Creek Road, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
The victim’s name, age and hometown were not available, nor was what led to the crash, which is in Adams Twp. west of Bradford
FIRST REPORT (Oct. 15)
A serious-injury motorcycle crash was reported tonight near Bradford in Darke County.
The crash was reported around 8 p.m. near Vannoy and Horatio-Harris Creek roads. According to initial reports, the crash victim had been riding a three-wheeled motorcycle.
A CareFlight helicopter initially was called but later was canceled.
