According to Springfield police, the driver, who was reportedly under the influence, crashed into Jim’s Tire & Service, located at 1936 Lagonda Avenue, around 1:45 a.m.

An officer came across the crash while patrolling the area.

The male driver, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, though his injuries are non-life threatening, police said.

He has not been formally charged in the crash.

Damage estimates were not immediately available, though there is a massive hole where the truck went through.

It is unclear if the shop will be open for business.
