5 things Clark, Champaign residents need to know today about the coronavirus

Here are five things Clark and Champaign residents need to know about COVID-19, or coronavirus today.

1. Clark County has reported a second positive coronavirus case. According to a statement from the Clark County Combined Health District, the patient is a woman in her 60s and is a known contact of the first positive Clark County case.

2. Champaign County has reported its first confirmed coronavirus case.  According to a statement from the Champaign Health District, the patient is a female in her early 30s who has not traveled.

3. All playgrounds and Warder Fit Stop in Springfield are closed due to the coronavirus threat. Parks remain open for outdoor activities while residents practice social distancing.

4. Navistar has suspended production for two weeks due to the coronavirus.

5. The stay-at-home order is in effect and the Clark County Sheriff urges residents to not call 911 to find out if they can go to work.
