The whistle, used by the Trump Manufacturing Company, was donated to the Clark County Historical Society after the war.

In 1939, another local “Liberty Whistle” used at the Bauer Brothers Plant and later installed at Ohio Edison for celebrations and demonstrations was also donated to the Historical Society.

After WWII began, the Historical Society loaned the 1,500-pound whistle to the Civilian Defense Council to be used as an air raid siren at the Ohio Edison Plant.
