Testing for COVID-19, or coronavirus, is not available at the Clark County Combined Health District, the district said in a post on social media.

In a post on the district’s Facebook, the district said testing for coronavirus is only available through a healthcare provider when certain criteria is met.

“At this time CCCHD does not have the capability to test for COVID-19,” the post said. “If you have an appointment with our clinic, we ask that you reschedule if you are feeling sick.”

The post goes on to remind residents if they are feeling sick to stay home.

“If your symptoms have worsened, call your doctor first to get their opinion on if you should receive further care,” the post said. “Keep in mind it is still flu season and if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, it does not necessarily mean you have COVID-19.”
