Aside from landscape changes, this wintry scene of Wittenberg University has remained fairly unchanged over the years.

Students then and now would recognize the view looking towards Myers Hall, the oldest building on campus, which opened in 1846.

Today, the wintry scene looks about the same, with a few more trees that block the view of Myers Hall.
