Police were called out to the 2500 block of Sunset Avenue in the early morning hours on Sunday for a serious injury accident and found a car that had crashed into a garage.
Curtis said the car drove off of the street, hit a light pole in a yard and travelled about 100 feet before hitting the garage.
The airbags did not deploy in the crash.

Neighbors up and down Sunset Avenue woke up on Sunday to flashing lights, sirens and police tape lining the streets.
“I’m like what the heck is going on, you know?,” said Brittany Clay.
She walked down the street to the scene while investigators tried to piece together what happened. When she learned the circumstances of the crash, she was shaken up.
“(The victim was) close to my age — it’s terrifying,” she said.
Just a couple houses down from Clay, Bill Gravenkemper said something woke him up on Sunday — but he wasn’t sure exactly what it was at the time.

A woman who owns the garage that was hit said she got very little sleep the night of the accident. The wall where the impact happened was almost completely taken out.
But she said her garage can be replaced — a life can’t be. She sent her deepest condolences to the man’s family.
The accident is still under investigation.
