Springfield residents appointed to state boards

Two Springfield residents were recently appointed to state boards by Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

John Landess of Springfield was appointed to the Regional Economic Development Alliance Study Committee for a term effective Nov. 6 through Aug. 1, 2019. The study committee’s role to study the features, benefits, and challenges involved in establishing economic development alliances that would improve collaboration and success of regional economic development efforts, according to information from the state.

David S. DeVore of Springfield was appointed to the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services for a term effective Nov. 6, 2018 through Nov. 12, 2019.
