The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy has given a Dispensary Certificate of Operation to Terrasana Labs in Springfield, according to a statement released by the board.

Terrasana Labs, located at 183 Raydo Cir. in Springfield, is the first dispensary in Clark County to receive the certificate from the state to sell medical marijuana.

Recieving a Dispensary Certificate from the state is the last hurdle a dispensary must clear before being cleared to open.

Terrasana has three other locations around the state in Columbus, Cleveland and Fremont, all of which are already operational.

Terrasana has not responded for request for comment on when the dispensary will open, however, their website says, “coming soon.”

There are currently 19 medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of Ohio, most of which have been opened in the northeastern part of the state.

The closest dispensary to Springfield is Mad River Remedies, located on Airway Road in Riverside.
