Springfield man killed in Madison County

A 20-year-old Springfield motorcyclist died at Madison County Hospital Wednesday, after his bike slammed into the side of a semi tractor-trailer rig on East High Street in London.

Brandon Wilt, 831 Mavor St., was eastbound at 12:47 p.m. behind a Dayton Freight Company rig driven by Dennis Dreisbach, 62, no address given. As Dreisbach turned his rig left into the driveway of Intelligrated Products LLC., Wilt’s 2003 Suzuki motorcycle traveled into the westbound lane, eventually skidding under the trailer portion of the rig as it turned.
