Ronald (Ronn) and Connie Collier opened Collier’s Family restaurant in 2003. Ronn worked at their restaurant until he died in 2015.
“This restaurant was my Dad’s dream and he loved it. I told him before he passed away that we would keep his dream alive and I’m just so upset that I cannot fulfill his dream,” says the post that went up Wednesday afternoon.

The management staff included Julie (Collier) Dill, Dave Dill and Joe Krebs.
In 2017, Collier's Family Restaurant was certified by Ohio State Representative Kyle Koehler as one of the top 10 best "Mom and Pop" restaurants in Ohio.
"This place has become my home where I looked forward to seeing my (work) family and all of our customers that have become great friends of ours over the years," the Facebook post says. "We will surely miss being in all of your lives. I'm sorry that we will not have a place to gather at anymore."
