A Springfield Bob Evans restaurant recently changed ownership in a roughly $3.7 million transaction, according to information from the Clark County Auditor’s Office.

Information from the auditor’s office shows BER Real Estate Investments LLC sold the restaurant at 1660 W. First St. in Springfield to Denali Ohio Lewis Industrial LLC earlier this year. Representatives from the two limited liability companies involved in the transaction could not be reached for additional comment.

Information from the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office shows Denali shares a mailing address with the Lincoln Property Company, based in Chicago. Information from that firm’s website shows Lincoln provides a variety of real estate services, including property management and leasing and advisory services.

Bob Evans operates more than 20 restaurants across the Miami Valley, including locations in Centerville, Dayton, Beavercreek, Miamisburg, Xenia, Huber Heights, Springfield, Middletown, Hamilton and Springboro.

The chain, which was founded in Rio Grande Ohio, split into two separate businesses last year. The Dayton Daily News reported last year that Bob Evans Farms Inc. sold its Bob Evans Restaurants to Golden Gate Capital, a private equity firm, for $565 million.

Cereal-maker Post Holdings purchased the chain’s food production business for $1.5 billion.
