Springfield has been awarded the ‘Most Caring City Award’ in Ohio by Insurify, an insurance comparison company, according to a release.

“Springfield has the highest share of individuals working in altruistic fields statewide, including social work, healthcare, counseling, firefighting, teaching and more,” the release says.

The cities are determined by the data of two-million auto insurance applications, which included the occupation and city of residence for each driver.

This information helped determine the percentage of each driver who worked in altruistic fields.

“We at Insurify would like to congratulate the residents of these communities who work day in and day out to better the lives of their fellow citizens,” said Snejina Zacharia, CEO of Insurify. “Their dedication to safety, health and education define what it means to be a caring neighbor.”
