Aller said he was nearby so he tried to intercept the pursuit at High Street and Bird Road with stop sticks, but “it came on me too quick.”
“I would say the vehicle passed me doing about 60 to 70 mph,” Aller said.

The stolen vehicle, a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, lost control soon after and hit the rear-end of a red SUV, Aller said.
Fortunately, the driver of the red SUV was not injured, Aller said.
He added, that the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
Troopers and fire crews peeled the roof off of the stolen vehicle to pull the female driver out of the car.
“The female driver appears to have serious injuries from the impact,” Aller said. “The male passenger that was in the vehicle was secured immediately. I believe he is being checked out too - for minor injuries.”
The driver was taken by Mobile Intensive Care Unit to Miami Valley Hospital.

Several agencies responded to the crash including the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, OSHP and Springfield Twp. Fire Department.
Aller said, initially the female driver was unconscious - provoking the large response.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported stolen from German Twp., Aller said.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office will handle the charges for the crash and OSHP will complete the investigation of the crash.
