The robbery was reported at the International Harvester Credit Union at 1427 West First Street in Springfield around 9:30 a.m.
According to initial reports, the robber entered the store and handed an employee a note. No weapon was displayed in the robbery, according to police scanner traffic.
Our crew on the scene reports multiple cruisers are on scene and the credit union branch is currently closed.
