Pickup truck smashes into Champaign County Library in Urbana

The pickup truck was partially in the library and its driver was alert and talking, according to initial reports.

A building inspector was called to check the stability of the library following the crash.

The library remains closed but is providing curbside pickup of previously requested materials at the main library in Urbana and the North Lewisburg branch.
