Moorefield Township firefighters battle a fire in a vacant house on Mechanicsburg Road Thursday evening. The second floor was fully involved when the fire department arrived and firefighters were forced to attack the fire from the outside for safety reasons. Once the fire had taken over the entire second floor, the fire department decided to let the vacant structure burn and just contain it. BILL LACKEY/STAFF
