Football fans from around the Miami Valley heard a familiar voice on Sunday during the first half of Super Bowl LI

Pepsi has partnered with Springfield native John Legend in the debut commercial for their new drink, LIFEWTR.

The commercial, entitled Inspiration Drops, has a modified version of Legend’s song “Love Me Now” providing the music for the commercial.

In an interview with AOL, Legend said the reason he wanted to work with LIFEWTR was that they celebrate the arts, artists and creativity.

Legend has been promoting LIFEWTR on Twitter all weekend.

According to PepsiCo., LIFEWTR is premium pH balanced, purified water with added electrolytes for taste.

LIFEWTR’s Series 1, features three different designs on the bottle. The designs are artistic pieces by Craig & Karl, Jason Woodside and MOMO.

Each series will feature the works of various artists from around the world.
