Ohio congressman to host photography competition

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, will host a district-wide photography competition of pictures from Ohio’s Fourth Congressional District to display in his new Washington, D.C. office. The contest is open now and will run through Monday, Jan. 16. Constituents who live in the Fourth District can submit photographs for consideration to Jordan’s Lima and Norwalk offices. Residents should deliver or mail their original photos to the district offices in Lima and Norwalk. Residents shouldn’t send photos to the Washington, D.C. office.

Residents who want to enter the contest are asked to submit original photos of recognizable landmarks, buildings or people from the Fourth District of Ohio. Residents must include identification with the photo that depicts the photographer’s full name, address, email address and phone number, as well as a title for the photograph.

Residents should deliver the original photo to the Lima office at 3121 W. Elm Plaza or the Norwalk office at 13 B E. Main St. Submitted photos will not be returned. Winners will be notified by Feb. 1.
