“Just like last year, we can all expect a great night of fun, food and entertainment with our families and friends,” New Carlisle Mayor Mike Lowrey said.
The mayor said Haddix Field, the New Carlisle Pool and Arrow Queen are a few spots where residents can go to enjoy the show. This is the second year New Carlisle is hosting fireworks.
“It was great seeing so many local organizations and businesses step up for last year’s fireworks display to make it memorable and this year will be no different,” he said.
Haddix Field will have a special event taking place that night, Lowrey said.
“The New Carlisle Baseball and Softball Association will be holding All-Star games that evening at Haddix Field under the lights with the concession stand up and running as well,” he said. “Also at Haddix field, thanks to councilman Ron Cobb and Bill Cook, will be numerous food trucks to help keep the large crowds’ hunger under control.”
The New Carlisle Pool will be serving food including burgers, watermelon slices, corn on the cob and will have a DJ playing music, Lowrey said. There will also be games, contests and sparklers for kids.
The mayor said Arrow Queen will have live music and ice cream Saturday night.
“Arrow Queen is a great social event on a daily basis and June 29th will be even better,” he said.
The fireworks are presented by the city of New Carlisle and sponsors.
