The Mechanicsburg High School football team is one win away from heading to the D-VI state championship.

The Mechanicsburg Indians will play in the final four against the Anna Rockets, 7 p.m. tonight, at Harmon Field., 400 W. Harrison Street in Wapakoneta.

Here are three things you should know about the Indians:

1. This year is the first time since 2013 that Mechanicsburg has advanced to the state semifinals.

2. If the team advances to the finals, the Indians will become the first Champaign County team to advance since 1983.

3.  The Anna Rockets are from the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC). If Mechanicsburg wins, this will be the first time in school history they have beat a MAC team.
