Looking back in Springfield: Ohio Edison lineman

This photo from the mid-1950s shows Ohio Edison linemen working on a job in Springfield. In the 1940s and 1950s residential electrification was expanding greatly and there was improvement in safety standards and an increase in job opportunities to meet the demands.
