At about 9 a.m., the school was locked down during an investigation of an unspecified threat, said Kramer. The lockdown lasted about 40 minutes and the school returned to a normal schedule after the Clark County Sheriff’s Office determined it was unsubstantiated.
“Although the threat was general in nature and did not target any particular student or group, every precaution was taken to ensure the safety of all involved,” Kramer said.
Tuesday afternoon, a fight between four girls prompted a lockdown of the school for about two hours. One of the students involved in that fight previously reported receiving racially-charged threats and harassment.
