An online sales brochure from Dayton Commercial Realty/Coldwell Banker Commercial Heritage says the half-acre property and 4,575-square-foot restaurant building constructed in 2016 is for sale or lease. The asking sale price is $1.5 million.
“It is beautiful inside and out and could be turned into another restaurant, brewpub, wine bar, etc.,” the sales brochure says.

IHOP corporate officials have not said why the three Dayton-area IHOP restaurants in Springfield, Huber Heights and Beavercreek were padlocked more than two months ago.

IHOP spokeswoman Stephanie Peterson said today, March 29, that her company is “still exploring options, nothing to confirm yet” in efforts to get one or more local IHOP locations back open.

A restaurant on Benchwood Road in Vandalia that was built and equipped and branded as an IHOP sat vacant for more than a year without ever operating as an IHOP, but opened earlier this week as The Wright Cafe. Dayton Commercial Realty/Coldwell Banker Commercial Heritage Realtor Allison Moody said this morning that the firm’s sales listing includes only the Springfield IHOP location.
