‘The Voice’ role comes just a few days after Legend won an Emmy to become a member of the rare group of entertainers to win the four highest awards in entertainment — Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
It appeared as if Legend requested the position and the network was more than happy to accommodate the recent EGOT winner, according to Huffington Post. Legend won an Emmy on Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards for his starring role in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
