Pry explained that she saw other schools making videos of their senior classes and thought it was a great idea.
Two weeks ago, Pry and a few classmates began creating a script and reaching out to the senior class for photos and videos.
“I had probably about 300 pictures and videos all together,” Pry said.
During the 12 minute video, students describe what the class of 2020 has experienced.

“Unfortunately tragedy has struck our community multiple times. We lost friends, teammates, classmates and a teacher,” two students in the video said.
“Our middle school years were cut two years short and we became the first class of seventh graders at Greenon Junior/Senior High School,” another student said.
“Throughout our 12 years, we have had a lot of fun and made unforgettable memories like the football team winning their first season opener in 10 years,” two students said.
The video also highlights photos and videos submitted by students and words of motivation from some of their teachers.
“I’m just very proud of this senior group. I think they are a very resilient group,” Greenon High School Principal Jared Shore said. “They’ve been through a lot and have had to overcome a lot of adversity.”

Shore added, “I thought it was a great tribute she put together with the seniors to recognize and celebrate the senior class. You can’t help but get teary-eyed when you watch it.”
Pry said her favorite part of making the video was “seeing all the memories we have made come together. It highlights our senior year.”
Not being able to spend time with friends and attend the usual senior events due to the coronavirus pandemic has been difficult for seniors, Pry explained.
“Don’t take things for granted, be thankful for what you have and what you had because it can be gone in a blink of an eye - it kind of did for all of us,” Pry said.
