Steven Douglas McDowell, 60, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count each of voyeurism and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material, Greene County Common Pleas Court records show.

McDowell must also register as a Tier I sex offender, which means for the next 15 years he must register his address with the county sheriff, as well as update any changes in address, place of employment or enrollment in a school.

In exchange for the guilty pleas, the prosecution agreed to drop one count of gross sexual imposition and 10 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.

McDowell was arrested in July after a female co-worker at Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek, whom he had been dating, reported that she found explicit photos on his cell phone.

According to prosecutors, the photos depicted prepubescent children in various states of nudity, and the subsequent investigation by Beavercreek police revealed McDowell had sexual contact with two elderly impaired residents of the facility.

McDowell’s LPN license’s status is currently listed as inactive and is set to expire in October 2018.
