Ground already saturated with last week’s rain and snow combined with the inch to one and a half inches total rain forecast projected for tonight and Monday likely will cause flooding and exacerbate existing problems throughout the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Overgorged creeks and streams are expected to create almost total runoff with little ground saturation, the National Weather Service reports.
The temperature this afternoon in the Miami Valley is 56 degrees, with a low of 52 degrees expected tonight, according to our partners at WHIO-TV.
The forecast calls for 56 degrees again Monday, dropping to a high in the low 40s starting Wednesday and through the rest of the week.
