Cosby said the last time she saw her mom was in late October. She said she’s worried because her mom was homeless at the time she went missing. Cosby said Smith was staying at Interfaith Hospitality Network in downtown Springfield, to the best of her memory. She’s afraid because of her living situation — her mom could be anywhere.
She said it’s not like her mom to miss special occasions. She said Smith wasn’t there for Cosby’s son’s birthday, her birthday or Thanksgiving. If she doesn’t stop by her home, Cosby said her mom at least calls.
“There’s nothing popping up. Nobody’s seen her. Nobody’s heard from her,” Cosby said.
A police report filed by Cosby said she’s worried about her mother because she had heard that someone recently threatened to kill her.
Cosby said she and her family have checked all of her normal hang out spots, but there’s been no sign of her mom. She said she’s never disappeared like this before.

She’s asking anyone who knows where her mom might be to come forward. Cosby is desperate for her mom’s safe return. Cosby, her siblings and her own children are worried that something’s happened to their loved one, she said.
“If she gets found dead, that’s my biggest fear. I don’t wanna bury my mom,” Cosby said.
Smith is described as a white female, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands five feet, four inches tall.
